Our Mission

At Luna + Coco, our pet products are our primary focus, but they are also the means to achieve our greater goal of community impact. Our guiding NorthStar is IMPACT, with a mission to engage, support, and enhance our community through innovative, purposeful pet products. At every stage of the product lifecycle, we make decisions based on how we can build a stronger community, be environmental and animal welfare stewards, and design high-quality, non-toxic innovative pet solutions that solve problems. Our ultimate goal is to generate a sustainable stream of resources that will go towards putting a dent in the 200M homeless dog population. We plan to become a B-Corp Certified Company.

Our Story

Hi, I'm Jenny, the founder of luna + coco. It wasn't an easy journey to get here. In 2021, my life was turned upside down by a series of devastating events. I found myself in the ICU, fighting for my life. Shortly after being released from the hospital, I lost my father, who was my rock and guiding light. And then, a couple of months later, my furbaby - my constant source of comfort and joy - also passed away. I felt lost, alone, and utterly shattered. The grief was almost too much to bear, and I struggled to find a way to cope. But in the midst of all this pain, I found an unexpected source of solace: volunteering at animal shelters in Mexico. It was there that I met Luna and Coco, two beautiful malnourished stray puppies that stole my heart. They became my family, my source of inspiration, and they gave me a reason to keep going.

Through my work with street dogs around the world, I saw firsthand the suffering they endured. The desire to make a bigger impact and help the estimated 200 million street dogs worldwide pushed me to create luna + coco. I knew that I had to harness my two passions- product development and animals - to make a meaningful difference in the world.

My goal is to design the highest quality eco-friendly pet products that are both functional and socially responsible that will solve problems but ultimately will generate resources to make a real difference in the lives of street dogs worldwide. Thus each product sold will go towards spaying a street dog in hopes of putting a dent in the 200M homeless dog population. Join me on this mission to create a better world for all animals.
